On 1 February 2023, ICTS Germany, the German General Security Division of ICTS Europe, started a new security contract with Cologne Public Transport Authority (Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe, KVB AG). ICTS Security personnel are responsible for the provision of guarding services and security patrol dog services for Cologne’s vast bus and train network.

This win follows the recent security contract awarded by Deutsche Bahn AG, the national railway company of Germany, to ICTS Germany in North Rhine-Westphalia and the contract extensions in three other Federal states. It is the second contract award that includes K9 security services in less than 6 months.

The training of staff started in February at the newly established branch of the ICTS Academy in the city of Essen.
