The 2023 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards

ICTS UK & Ireland is delighted to be finalists in the following two categories:

•Outstanding Contract Security Company;

•Outstanding Event Security Team.

Our entry for the ‘Outstanding Event Security Team’ category was based upon the terrific work carried out by our Canine Security Team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Ashley Fernandes, Executive Director - Corporate Security, ICTS UK & Ireland, commented, “We are extremely proud of our teams being nominated finalists in two categories at this year’s OSPAs. As well as Outstanding Contract Security Company, it is very rewarding to see our Canine Security Team being recognised for their work supporting West Midlands Police at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Their focus and work ensuring that ICTS was the first private company in the UK to achieve the NCTAS-P standard ensures that we are leading the way in quality and expertise in the sector.”

The National Canine Training and Accreditation Scheme – Private Security Industry (NCTAS-P) is intended to provide the operators of sites procuring and using explosives detection dog (EDD) services with confidence in the quality of those services through accreditation of each EDD team (a specific dog and handler pairing). The NCTAS-P standard enabled our Event Security Team to work seamlessly in collaboration with the Police and Government Explosives Detection Dog teams.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 23 February 2023 at the UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
